A 21-year-old Texas man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a 17-year-old girl in Harris County who he was said to be dating in the Baytown area. Tomas Bautista was arrested Sunday and is being held in the Harris County Jail on charges of murder, according to police. The shooting occurred early Sunday morning near the 7800 block of Richards Street in Baytown, about 30 miles east of downtown Houston, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
