Houston’s battle with traffic snarls has been ongoing, but some relief is on the horizon. According to a recent Houston Chronicle report, drivers can look forward to the opening of new ramps at Loop 610 and Texas by mid-October. This comes as a part of a $125.5 million Texas Clear Lanes project aimed at untying the city’s knotted freeway intersections. In a statement to the Houston Chronicle, James Callenius, a senior construction manager for SAM-Construction Services, anticipates that once in place, “When we can get that all in place, all that work will go away and people will be at normal speeds.”
