Monroe Ave. businesses damaged in shootout

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are looking for two suspects involved in a gunfight in the area of Monroe Avenue and Edmonds Street.

Officers responded before 1 a.m. and found evidence of gunfire in a parking lot and damage to two businesses on Monroe Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Investigators believe both suspects opened fire at each other before hitting a building and leaving.

Anyone with information on the gunfire is asked to call 911.
