The lucky ticket was sold at Merigold Liquor in Shawnee. Due to the size of the jackpot prize, this business is eligible for a $1,000 selling bonus from the Kansas Lottery.

People are reminded to check their tickets to see if they won something as even those who don’t hit the jackpot prize may still be able to claim smaller amounts of cash. You can learn more about lottery games to play in Kansas by clicking here .
