Davante Adams’ Two Preferred Trade Destinations Revealed

Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams is reportedly interested reuniting with Aaron Rodgers on the New York Jets or Derek Carr on the New Orleans Saints as part of a potential trade, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN ‘s Adam Schefter on Wednesday (October 2).

Adams was teammates with Rodgers on the Green Bay Packers during his first eight NFL seasons and teammates with Carr in college at Fresno State, as well as during his first season with the Raiders, which played a major role in the franchise acquiring him. Saints wide receiver coach Keith Williams also serves as Adams’ personal wide receiver coach and has mentored him.

“Two teams high on Davante Adams’ wishlist of places to land – if not at the very top – are the Jets and Saints, per league sources. Adams ideally would like to play with a QB he knows. The Jets have former teammate Aaron Rodgers, and the Saints have former teammate Derek Carr,” Schefter wrote on his X account. “In addition to Derek Carr in New Orleans, Saints WRs coach Keith Williams also has worked with Davante Adams as his personal wide receivers coach. Adams has referred to Williams as one of his mentors.”
