KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A historic battle is set to be honored for years to come as the Monnett Battle of Westport Fund unveils a series of 10 markers in Kansas City. The Monnett Battle of Westport Fund announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2, that leaders are set to unveil a series of 10 historical markers to interpret the Byram’s Ford Battlefield of the Battle of Westport.
