KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knoxville Police Department has identified the victim in an overnight shooting that happened on Tuesday. According to the department, the shooting was also “targeted.” The news first broke Wednesday morning, when KPD Communications Manager Scott Erland said detectives were investigating after a 41-year-old man was found shot in the 1900 block of Minnesota Avenue.
