PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Power is fully restored at Rhode Island Hospital after an outage that occurred for nearly four hours.
A spokesperson from Lifespan told 12 News the hospital lost power around 8 a.m. and the backup generators were activated.
Just before noon, the spokesperson said the power came back and operations were returning to normal.
The hospital is no longer on diversion and visiting hours will resume as scheduled.
