Man accused of slashing 62 vehicles’ tires in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Fall River police have arrested a man who allegedly went on a tire-slashing spree last month.

Liduino Tavares is accused of damaging the tires on 62 vehicles in the south side of the city on Sept. 18, according to police.

A warrant for his arrest was issued by police in September after dozens of residents reported their tires being slashed overnight.

Tavares is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
