Byron Baldwin, a four-star cornerback from Baltimore, Maryland, has backed off his pledge to the Indiana Hoosiers.

Baldwin, who hails from Baltimore, Maryland, had been committed to Indiana since the springtime. He recently took an official visit to Colorado, though, and after that, he received offers from Penn State and Virginia Tech.

All that recruiting attention seemingly shook his commitment to the Hoosiers, and now he’s opened back up.

According to 247Sports , Baldwin has camped at Penn State before, and he seems to have caught the eye of safeties coach Anthony Poindexter. It sounds like the Nittany Lions want to get him back onto campus for an official visit.

Colorado is going to be a massive player in Baldwin’s recruitment moving forward — especially now that Deion Sanders has locked in on him — but Baldwin has also revealed that Missouri is standing out to him as well.

Not only that, but Indiana is not completely out of the picture, either. The four-star told Ryan O’Bleness of Rivals that he will still consider the Hoosiers and that they “potential to be an amazing program.”
