Columbia, S.C. (WACH) – Governor Henry McMaster is warning that a port worker strike up and down the East Coast would have a major impact on business, as usual in South Carolina. Thousands of dock workers are on strike for higher pay and a ban on automated technology replacing their jobs. The strike comes during the wave of devastation in South Carolina from Hurricane Helene.
