As he lay on the field writhing in pain, anyone watching that saw the injury had to be thinking the same thing.

Watson was ruled questionable with an ankle injury during the game.

After halftime, that questionable designation, was downgraded to out.

Questions and fear swirled.

Watson, despite some limited production early in the season, is a big part of what Green Bay does on offense.

He had his best game of the young season two weeks ago against the Tennessee Titans.

He made a contested catch on the team’s first possession, and helped convert a 3rd and long where he showed off his speed.

The fear and some initial reports said that Watson suffered a high-ankle sprain.

Those can range in severity, but are usually an injury that lands a player on injured reserve.

A source said that Watson had a regular ankle sprain, and Matt LaFleur said today that he felt good about where Watson was at.
