Second Annual Chef’s Tasting event supports Oklahoma culinary education

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) — Oklahomans, get ready to treat your stomachs to delicious food and beverages during the second annual Chef’s Tasting event.

Local restaurants, chefs and culinary schools will be sampling off their tasty treats on Sunday, October 6, at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The event is hosted by the Culinary Arts Society of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and RestoreOKC .

Local restaurants, breweries and chefs will serve a variety of food, beer and wine at the event including raffling off prizes, games and much more.

Proceeds raised from Chef’s Tasting will be used towards certifications for local high school culinary teachers and scholarships for culinary and hospitality students.

A portion of the proceeds will also go towards supporting the culinary program, RestoreOKC.

The cost of tickets for food tasting is $35 each, and tickets for both food and alcohol tasting cost $55 each.
