A group of veterans getting a hero’s welcome right here in Central Florida. Their plane landed at MCO last night after they were honored in the nation’s capital for their service. This was made possible through Honor Flight Central Florida. They fly veterans to DC so they can see the memorials at no charge. More than 50 veterans went on this trip and we spoke with the woman who was waiting for her husband to come home. He spent years in the military and served in Vietnam. “When they came home the first time, nobody welcomed them. And they deserve this,” the woman said.
