AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Another district game for the Amarillo High Golden Sandies at home to take on the Abilene High Eagles this Friday. The roller coaster ride continued for the Sandies last week, trailing the Monterey Plainsmen by 10 at halftime, but three touchdowns in the third quarter put them back on top and they protected the lead to win in 50-42. Both of Amarillo’s wins and losses have been by a touchdown or less this season.
