Buying burgers and coffee in Spokane can help the KXLY Broadcast Group radio stations help families in need this holiday season.
The seven radio stations in the group are all participating in the 30th anniversary of Christmas Wish.
That includes 92.9 ZZU, The Big 99.9 Coyote Country, Rock 94 1/2, Hot 96.9, 920 News Now, 700 ESPN and 92.5 Classic Hits.
Since its inception in 92.9 ZZU has relied on the support of dedicated listeners and sponsors to make Christmas wishes come true. That generosity comes in the form of Christmas gifts, the payment of utility bills food and basic needs to families facing hardships like illness, layoffs and other challenges.
In October, you can support Christmas Wish by buying a double burger from D’Lish’s. $1 from the sale of every burger on Tuesday and Wednesday will go to Christmas Wish.
You can also try the Christmas Wish blend from Indaba Coffee Roasters. $5 from the sale of each bag will be donated to the fund.
