( KRON ) — A 47-year-old man has been arrested for multiple counts of child molestation and sexual assault, the Concord Police Department announced on Wednesday. Emilio Martinez-Alarcon is suspected of molesting multiple victims under the age of 14, police said.
He was arrested by the Concord PD Special Victims Unit on Sept. 25. The case, police said, was presented to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

The following charges were filed against Martinez-Alarcon:
- Aggravated sexual assault of a child
- Three counts of forcible lewd acts on a child
- Six counts of lewd acts on a child
The suspect is in custody and is being held on $11 million bail. Concord PD said it has reason to believe Martinez-Alarcon may have assaulted additional victims and that these crimes may not yet have been reported.
