Bryant camper rental company sending campers down to those impacted by Helene

BRYANT, Ark. – Hurricane Helene ripped through homes and left people displaced throughout the American southeast, and now one business in Bryant is doing what it can to give those victims a place to stay.

Michael McNamara, owner of Suite Spot Camper Rental, has been sending out campers to places dealing with natural disasters since Hurricane Katrina. Around 100 campers are now being sent to different states to help the victims of Helene.

“We’re going down to North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and then we’re loading the campers down with essentials that the people aren’t able to go to the gas station to get,” McNamara said. “Batteries, flashlights, generators.”

Supplies are being gathered at different locations across the state, like I Heart Mac & Cheese in Benton, Another Man’s Treasure in Bauxite and any Hotworx location in the state.

Julia Rose, the manager at the Hotworx in Benton, said it’s fulfilling to offer help to a community from states away.
