Lodi: Detectives Hoping Public Can Help Them Identify Man Found Dead Tuesday

Bay City News

Investigators in San Joaquin County are having difficulty identifying a man whose body was discovered this week in Lodi, the Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

Deputies responded around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a deceased person in the area of Glasscock Road near Sycamore Slough. Workers in the area had discovered the body, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The man was found without any identification on his person and detectives have not been able to identify him through other methods.

The Sheriff’s Office is hoping the community can help them with this case.

Detectives believe he is an elderly male between 60 and 70 years of age. He is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds. He was found wearing only shorts and appears to have recently undergone facial surgery.

Anyone who may have any information about this case or who recognizes this description as someone they know to be missing, please contact the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 468-4400.
