We had the privilege of hosting a neighborhood reception for two candidates running for city office: Anne Shevlin for City Council and Shawn O’Neil for Mayor. My wife and I have lived in Charbonneau for 15 years. We love our community and the city of Wilsonville. It’s a wonderful place to live, work and play, yet, as you know, more people and families are finding this out and the population base is expanding. We have taken a keen interest in this November election for Wilsonville City Hall and proposed plans for the next 20 years.
Shevlin and O’Neil conveyed a positive plan for Wilsonville’s future. It’s apparent that both have had successful careers as problem solvers. Better yet, both are great listeners! When you get your ballot in the mail, thoughtfully consider the issues facing the city for the next 20 years; review the platforms and character of both Anne and Shawn.
