These Are Maryland’s Top Public High Schools: New Rankings Released

Poolesville High School took the top spot in Maryland – and 32nd overall in the nation – followed by Walt Whitman High School, River Hill High School, Winston Church Hill High School, and Marriotts Ridge High School.

To determine the “best public schools in America,” Niche’s ranking was “based on rigorous analysis of academic and student life data from US Department of Education along with test scores, college data, and ratings collected from millions of Niche users.”
