“An Evening of Heroes: Survival, Resilience, Solidarity” will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in University Auditorium, 333 Newell Drive, on the University of Florida Campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. There will be security on site and no bags will be allowed inside the venue.

The free event is being sponsored by Chabad UF, UF Bud Shorstein Center for Jewish Studies, Tikvah, Students Supporting Israel, Jewish Federation of North America and Chabad on Campus International. Reservations can be made at jewishgator.com .

“Showing solidarity and unity with Israel is crucial for every person that feels and knows about the terrible events of Oct. 7 and what has been following since,” said Rabbi Berl Goldman of Chabad UF. “The war, unfortunately, rages on.”
