Early this morning, a two-alarm fire broke out in a Milwaukee residence near the junction of 27th Street and Lisbon Avenue, with emergency services receiving the call shortly before 6 a.m. According to FOX6 News, the Milwaukee Fire Department conducted several thorough searches of the residence and confirmed that it was vacant at the time of the incident, assuring that there were no injuries sustained due to the fire. WISN also reported on the blaze, noting that the ferocity of the flames was such that firefighters were forced to combat the fire from the exterior of the home after flames were seen erupting from the roof and windows.
