PHOENIX – 2024 has been record-worthy in the heat department, breaking daily, weekly, monthly and yearly records so far. However, this weekend has potential to break a record set more than 100 years ago. The National Weather Service has extended our Excessive Heat Warning through Sunday as temperatures continue to be 10+ degrees above normal.
