( WJET/WFXP ) — Sonic unveiled its new $1.99 menu earlier this summer, called its “FUN-99 Menu.” As we head into fall, Sonic is bringing back some fan favorites with new deals and a revamped “FUN-99” menu.
The fast-food company, known for its drive-in service, announced on Sunday the new lineup for its value menu. In the new lineup, the company has replaced three products, the Coney Island Chili Dog and the Double Pound Double Cheeseburger, from the summer lineup, and new seasonal items now take their place.
The new $1.99 menu includes ( bold marks new items):
- Single Grilled Cheese Burger
- Small Jumbo Popcorn Chicken
- Queso Wraps, available in Bacon Ranch and Southwest Crunch
- Small Cream Slushes, available in Blue Coconut, Strawberry and Blood Orange flavors
- Small Tots
The highlight of this menu is the return of the Single Grilled Cheese Burger which combines a grilled cheese sandwich on buttery Texas Toast with a beef patty, topped with mustard, ketchup and diced onions. Also new to the list are the Small Cream Slushies, which blends vanilla soft serve with icy slush and is available in Blue Coconut, Strawberry, and Blood Orange flavors.
