Tyreek Collier Charged With Raping Child: PPD

Tyreek Collier, also known as Tyreek Jackson, 28, was arrested from the 6400 block of Charles Street on Wednesday, Oct. 2, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Collier is accused of sexually assaulting a child during a burglary in the 3000 block of Cottman Avenue at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, police said.

He was charged under two separate dockets with:

  • Rape Forcible Compulsion.
  • Unlawful Contact with Minor – Sexual Offenses.
  • Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse Forcible Compulsion.
  • Statutory Sexual Assault.
  • Sexual Assault.
  • Corruption of Minors.
  • Indecent Assault without Consent.
  • Burglary – Overnight Accommodations; Person Present, Bodily Injury Crime.
  • Criminal Trespass – Break Into Structure.

Collier’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18, according to court documents. He’s being held on $250,000 bail under the rape charges and $100,000 bail under the burglary charges.
