Despite the damage done to Plant City by Hurricane Helene on September 25 and 26, the skies were clear for the third annual Oktoberfest in Historic Downtown Plant City. When the event, hosted by Historic Plant City Main Street, began at 3 p.m. on September 28, there were already hundreds of people in the streets-and a good time was had by all, eating, drinking, playing, shopping, and listening to German-style music.
