BATON ROUGE, La. – Southern University’s School of Nursing marked a milestone with the largest class of Black male nurses in the university’s history, according to WBRZ. The cohort made history with 33 students enrolled. This week they were recognized for their “dedication, commitment to healthcare, and the positive representation of men in the nursing profession,” school officials said in an Instagram post.
