Danielle Weaver-Fowler, 29, died on Sunday, Sept. 29, according to an obituary from Lee Funeral Home. She was the mother of an eight-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son.
Weaver-Fowler was remembered for how much she cared for her family.
“Truly, to know Danielle was to love her,” her obituary read. “Her sparkling green eyes were captivating, her beautiful smile made you feel like you’ve known her forever, and her gentle, genuine, and giving soul made you fall in love. As gentle as she was, she was also determined, brave, and unbelievably headstrong.”
Weaver-Fowler previously posted on Instagram that she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. She and her husband Christopher Fowler decided to push up their wedding and the couple got married a week later on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.
Her diagnosis came a few months after the basement wall at the couple’s home collapsed in May 2023.
“I thought life couldn’t possibly get worse than that, but then I was quickly proved very wrong,” Weaver-Fowler posted. “It felt like my world stopped and was crumbling around me. But my kids didn’t stop, and I need to keep going for them, and I will keep going for them.”
