Well, at least they tried. That was my defense of 6 Illinois school districts that were just given the lowest possible grade for academics. It would be inappropriate for someone like me to be judging whether a school district is doing a good job or a bad one. That’s what the respected website Niche just did though and some school districts didn’t fare as well as others. They look at academics, sports, teachers and diversity among other factors before deciding which school districts have excelled and which ones haven’t.
