NEW ORLEANS (WVUE)-The Jefferson Parish School System and the teachers’ union agree that salaries for teachers and school support workers must increase. A property tax proposal will be presented to Jefferson Parish voters on Dec. 7. If the 10.89-mill tax proposal is approved, the raises would apply across the board.
