Kansas AG Kris Kobach will lead the Republican Attorneys General Association

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach is taking on a national leadership position as the chair of the Republican Attorneys General Association.

Kobach made the announcement Thursday through his campaign that his fellow Republican attorneys general had affirmed him as the RAGA chairman.

“It is a great honor to have been selected by my 27 colleagues to lead the organization of Republican attorneys general that has been so pivotal in stopping the unconstitutional actions of the Biden-Harris administration,” Kobach said in a statement. “The last four years have demonstrated just how important state attorneys general are when the executive branch defies the Constitution or the law, and Congress is unable or unwilling to act. I appreciate Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes’ steady leadership over the past year. I look forward to leading our organization in the year ahead.”
