DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin and West Chicago Police Chief Colin Fleury announced today that Judge Joshua Dieden granted a motion to detain a West Chicago man charged in connection with the fatal fentanyl overdose of a local woman. Habile Jacob, 26, of the 1600 block of Orchard Court, appeared in court today and is facing charges of Drug-Induced Homicide, a Class X felony, and Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, a Class 2 felony.
