SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) — One person was hospitalized this morning after a shooting in Springfield.
The Springfield Police Division confirmed that officers were dispatched around 1:24 a.m. to the 300 block of South Burnett Road on report of the shooting.
A person was found having sustained a gunshot wound and was promptly transported by CareFlight to an area hospital.
The condition of the person shot is unknown at the time of writing. No information regarding a suspect is known either at this time.
