Man Charged with Attempted Murder after Driving to Zanesville from North Carolina

Zanesville,OH- A man who Zanesville Police said drove from Asheboro, North Carolina to Zanesville after making threats to kill his ex-girlfriend is now behind bars. Zanesville Police Detective Sgt. Phil Michel said Jamie Johnson is charged with four counts of menacing by stalking with a firearm specification, violating a protection order with a firearm specification, four counts of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and one count of attempted murder with a firearm specification.
