Meet The Dog Saved From Being Euthanized “Purely For Space” Now Looking For Love

Sandy Paws Rescue Inc., a foster-based dog rescue in Massachusetts, recently introduced an adorable dog named Leo who they saved. “Leo was set to be euthanized in Texas, purely for space, before we rescued him,” explains Sandy Paws Rescue. Thought to be a shepherd/husky mix, Leo’s foster home notes that he “displays more shepherd temperment than husky.”

At just over one-year-old, Leo has spent some time in a foster home and has no accidents in the house when on a consistent schedule. “He is not destructive but does love the thrash is toys or chew his bones,” explains his foster family. “He is still learning manner and can be a bit mouthy but is easily redirected. He likes other dogs and has been non reactive to cats!”

Leo is up-to-date with his vaccines and is neutered. He is currently in Texas awaiting transport to Massachusetts, where he will be ready to go to his forever home, if anyone steps forward to adopt him, as of October 15th. Now all Leo needs is a loving person or family willing to take a chance on him and give him the home he forever deserves.
