Weather radio outage scheduled for Kentucky

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – NOAA Weather Radio transmitters covering western Kentucky will be temporarily out of service on Monday.

Officials say the outage will allow for hardware upgrades for the transmitters. The following transmitters will be down during the upgrades:

  • Mayfield (KIH-46)
  • Madisonville (WXJ-91)
  • Hopkinsville (KXI-26)
  • Whitesville (KZZ-61)
