Consumer Alert issued for Downtown Dollar General

A Consumer Alert has been issued for a Dollar General store in Downtown Pittsburgh.

The Dollar General Express on the 600 block of Wood Street was hit with the alert due to a lack of water supply.

The Allegheny County Health Department says “water to the facility has been turned off.” The is considered a “medium risk”.

That lack of water also caused a “low risk” violation, toilets and hand sinks not working.

The Consumer Alert was posted on October 2 and as of noon on October 4, remains active on the ACHD website.
