SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A child is dead following an ATV crash in north Springfield.
According to the Springfield Police Department (SPD), officers responded to the crash at around 11:20 p.m. on Oct. 3 at the intersection of Jean Street and Missouri Avenue.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital, where the child later died.
