A Marysville Borough Police Officer was involved in the shooting, according to Trooper Frazer.
Cassell Street from South State Road/Route 11 to Church Street was shuttered in Marysville until Friday morning, Oct. 4, according to witnesses.
Two people were taken to Holy Spirit Hospital, according to Perry County Emergency Management Agency.
Law enforcement officers from the State Police, Marysville Borough, and Hampden Township swarmed the area as scene restriction began around 11 p.m.
“There is no threat to the public,” Frazer said.
