EUGENE, Ore. – The first trial of the protesters involved in the April 15, 2024 I-5 protest began Thursday morning, kicking off what will amount to months of trials. The case, State of Oregon versus Samuel Joseph Yergler, began Thursday morning with fellow protesters joining Yergler at the Lane County Courthouse in solidarity.
