About Culver’s: This chain began in 1984 as a family business. From the very beginning, the restaurant served its famous “ButterBurger” where the butter is melted on the bun, as well as its frozen custard.

They’re also known for their fried cheese curds and homemade root beer. Although this is technically a fast food chain, the restaurant freely admits that it is the slowest option around because each order is begun once placed so that everything is completely fresh.
