BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Homicide detectives were sent to Paradise Road in Lamont on Friday morning regarding a man who died after being shot, sheriff’s officials said.
There was a large law enforcement presence on Paradise Road near Waco Avenue just before 8 a.m.
Man accused of annoying minor at Beach Park charged with misdemeanors
A 17 News crew reported multiple Kern County Sheriff’s Office vehicles, investigators and a coroner’s unit at the scene. A body was seen in the roadway; it was taken away by coroner’s officials.
