Motorcyclist has life-threatening injuries after reportedly trying to pass someone on the shoulder of an I-25 on-ramp in the Monument area

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital Thursday night following a crash along I-25 near Monument. Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is reporting they were called to the Highway 105 on-ramp to I-25 at about 5:48 p.m. CSP says a 50-year-old man from Colorado Springs was on a motorcycle trying to pass a car using the right shoulder. The motorcyclist reportedly lost control, hit the guardrail and was thrown from the motorcycle.
