Report Implicates Jayden Daniels’ Mother In Recruiting Scandal At Arizona State

Jayden Daniels is turning heads as one of the best rookie quarterbacks in recent NFL history after his first four starts with the team.

The number two overall pick out of Louisiana State University, Daniels started his college football career with three seasons in Tempe, Arizona as a member of the Arizona State Sun Devils before transferring to Baton Rouge for his final two college seasons.

Daniels’ mother is Regina Jackson, who accompanied him to the 2024 ESPYs in Los Angeles, Calif. this past July.

On Friday, it was announced that Jackson’s name was implicated in a report on Arizona State’s alleged recruiting violations several times.

Jackson is referred to as a “booster” in the report and later identified as a parent of a former ASU student athlete. She showed up often at Sun Devils games and practices, traveling from her home in San Bernadino, Calif., according to a report from AZCentral.com.

It goes on to state that Jackson allegedly helped arrange unofficial visits for recruits during the COVID-19 dead period, which banned off-campus travel for coaches and prohibited recruits from being brought to campus.
