GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A man who was age 16 in 1995 when he committed a killing described as horrific by prosecutors wants a chance at parole. Paul Marcus Carter, now 45, was in a Grand Rapids courtroom Thursday, Oct. 3 to hear family members, friends and others testify about his troubled childhood.
