A Guatemalan national was handed a 21-month prison term yesterday by a federal court in Boston for making an unlawful return to the United States. Wilson Hernandez-Bautista, 34, faced sentencing by U.S. District Court Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton after a guilty plea in June to a singular count of unlawfully reentering the country after deportation, a charge brought forward by a grand jury in December 2023, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.
