Pacific Power is sending crews and resources from Bend and other parts of Oregon to help restore electricity to Georgia as that state recovers from Hurricane Helene. Twenty-two employees, including four from Bend, and 20 trucks are heading to the southeast to help with storm recovery efforts. Other resources and crews are going from Medford, Grants Pass, Roseburg and Astoria.
