LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Free electric car charging at Louisville-owned chargers could be on the way out if a new proposal passes the Metro Council. One council member said asking taxpayers to pay for others’ electricity is not fair. Council Member Anthony Piagentini said city staff gave him a list of eight chargers that are open to the public and free to use.
