Van crashes into Subway in Greece, cocaine found in glove box

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A driver was charged after a crash Friday in Greece, where a van drove through the front of a Subway on West Ridge Road.

According to police, the woman was parked in front of the store when she accidentally put the vehicle in drive instead of reverse. She drove through the front of the building, but police said no customers were inside and no one was injured.

Police said the driver, Angela Pollotta, was not under the influence, but officers allegedly found a small amount of cocaine in the glove box. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
